Charlie Johanson
Preaching and Adult Education
Charlie has been on staff at Brentwood Oaks since 2007. He started his work here by coordinating small groups and adult education, but in 2012 became our preaching minister. He loves the way BOCC is dedicated to spiritual formation as well as the hospitality and community here. Charlie loves to spend time with his wife, Julie, and their 2 children, as well as playing guitar, listening to vinyl records, shooting baskets, and lingering with friends at church and home groups. He says that reading the psalms on a daily basis has been a tremendous help to his faith, as well as being challenged by authors about ministry and preaching. Charlie is a great preacher and an even better friend, who loves to help others draw closer to Christ.
James Henley
Community Minister
James has been at Brentwood Oaks since 2012. He has worked as a youth minister since 2002, but his time at Brentwood Oaks has been some of his favorite. He transitioned to Community Ministry in March of 2024. He married Ashlee in 2005 and they have two precious girls. James likes to spend time with his family, follow Texas Rangers baseball, listen to great music, and drink great coffee. James has been blessed to find Brentwood Oaks as a place of encouragement and community. He believes that God placed him here so he could find those things, as well as to be a blessing to the BOCC community.
Lyndsey joined the Brentwood Oaks staff as our children’s minister in June of 2022. Lyndsey and her husband Kent and two children, Pyper and Garner, have been members at BOCC for 10 years and have been a vital part of the church body here through Children's Worship, marriage classes, teaching Sunday school, and Summit Group. Lyndsey has grown up in the church and graduated from Harding University with her bachelors and Abilene Christian University with her Masters. She believes, however, that her faith in God became deeply solidified while working as a missionary in China for three years. Lyndsey comes to us with 15 years as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology in public education so she loves working with all kinds of kids! She and her family love playing sports, singing, making up silly dances, adventuring to new outdoor excursions, and making each other laugh. She can't wait to meet your child and love them as her own and we are excited for her to be on staff with us!
Luke joined the Brentwood Oaks staff in March of 2024 as our new youth minister.
Melissa Seale
Administrative Assistant
Melissa has been on staff at Brentwood Oaks for the last 12 years. She does many things that help our office run smoothly and will be the voice you hear when you call the church. Melissa loves organization and helping others, so it’s a natural fit in her role here at BOCC. Melissa married Greg in 2017 and they have 3 dogs: Maverick, Ranger, and Bailey. She enjoys traveling, reading, trying new restaurants, and going to movies. Melissa said that close-knit community is something that has really helped her grow in her faith. We are glad that Melissa is a part of our community!
Pam Fowler
Office Manager
Pam has been a member at Brentwood Oaks since 1989 and on staff for the last 15 years. She is the person who handles scheduling, as well as a thousand tasks that are vital to our church every day. She is married to her 7th grade sweetheart, Jerry, and they have 4 kids and 13 grandchildren. Brentwood Oaks has felt like home to Pam for a long time and has been a great place for her and her family to grow in their faith. In her spare time, Pam enjoys reading and watching her grandkids play sports. She is also a master seamstress. Pam is a loved and valuable member of the Brentwood Oaks team.
Glenn Davis
Administration and Facilities Minister
Glenn has been a part of Brentwood Oaks his whole life. That being the case, Glenn is heavily invested in the well-being of our church administrative operations and management of our physical campus. With a background in banking, real estate and construction, you will find Glenn overseeing a variety tasks and projects to support our church life at Brentwood Oaks. He and his wife, Cynthia, have two boys and a wonderful daughter-in-law. Glenn enjoys spending time at the family ranch, baseball, hunting, fishing, and date nights with Cynthia. He says that serving others has helped him grow in his faith. It reminds him that life isn’t all about him. Glenn’s selfless attitude goes a long way here on campus and we are grateful for all of his hard work.
Donna Wisian
Finance Director
Donna has been on staff at Brentwood Oaks for the last 38 years. Yeah, you read that right! She keeps our financial records and all things accounting. Before she began working here, Donna was on staff at a church in Virginia, where she’s from, as a music director and organist. She says that her faith journey has been impacted greatly through seeing her loved ones’ strength in the midst of tragedy. Their courage and strength in their faith really impacted her own walk with the Lord. Donna is married to Ray and they have 3 children and 4 wonderful grandchildren. She enjoys traveling with her family, especially taking cruises. We are thankful for Donna!
